Skills necessary to work as a laborer include but are not limited to:
- Able to read plans, instructions, and specifications.
- Experience using tape measure, straight edge, hand tools, saws, hammers, picks, shovels, and other common trade tools.
- Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, and other temporary use items.
- Set and dismantle forms for pouring concrete.
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Other duties as assigned.
